I'm so with you...but then again, I'm not trying to compete with all the other kids in my class for the latest thing...which would include cool shoes. Seriously though, triple digits is way too much for some shoes.

Why do people still feel the need to spend $100+ on sneakers? When I was in High school in the early 90s you didn't have too many choices between one shoe store or the other so you had to pay more for good basketball shoes.

Nowadays you can visit dozens of online stores and buy brand new name brand overstock shoes all for less than 50 bucks with many to choose from.
